  • Step One:

    Upon arriving, you'll be welcomed into our private bespoke room to relax before your adventure begins. Once you're settled in, you'll be introduced to our Bespoke Specialist who will give you a complete tour of our factory and teach you as much (or as little) as you'd like to learn about the history behind 3x1 and what makes us so unique.

  • Step Two:

    You'll have the opportunity to discuss your specific needs and wants with our Bespoke Specialist who will guide you through the process one step at a time.

  • Step Three:

    Once we've determined your idea or jean concept, we'll start working on finding your fit. Whether we use a reference garment or start with or work with nothing but measurements, we'll manage the process in a few simple steps.

    Often times customers bring in a pair they love, or used to love, for reference. This is a great idea and we find it helpful when discussing elements of the fit, fabric or finish.

  • Step Four:

    Once we've reviewed your reference garment and introduced you to a variety of fits, you'll meet with one of our two pattern-makers to discuss your fit needs in detail. We'll take a few measurements, as well as a couple of 'fitting' photos for reference, and we'll be on our way.

    We do all our pattern-making in-house, and digitize our process from start to finish. When we finalize your Bespoke jean, it's forever saved into our database, enabling you to order any Custom-Made jean in your specific fit.

  • Step Five:

    Next, you'll walk over to our raw selvedge denim wall. There's simply nothing like it anywhere in the world. With more than 80 different denims on display at one time, you'll learn about the different mills we work with and we'll properly introduce you to our world of denim. Along the way, we'll be helping you choose a fabric that's just right for you.

  • Step Six:

    Once fabric and fit are finalized, you'll start designing and customizing every aspect of your jean. You'll decide on the design details of belt loops, back pockets, hardware, coin pockets, and stitching, or what we like to call, Thread Theory.

  • Step Seven:

    Within 2-3 weeks, we'll welcome you back to 15 Mercer for your first jean fitting. Your Bespoke Specialist and Pattern Maker will be on hand to evaluate the fit and suggest any adjustments. We'll repeat the process until we've absolutey perfected your new Bespoke jeans.

  • Step Eight:

    Last, we'll apply the finishing touches including buttons, rivets, hem, and hand sewn labels. Because your Bespoke pattern is digitized in our pattern making system and permanently kept on file, ou can return at any time, or even call up over the phone, and create a new pair of jeans in your one-of-a-kind fit.
